Random Palette Challenge

I wanted to do a little art challenge, so I set my monitor to display in black and white, generated a random color palette, and drew using nothing but the values visible to me. It was a great way to practice making sure things were readable by value, and resulted in a drawing I don't think I'd have ever made without it.

The final image, built up of the five colors I'd generated.

This is what I was seeing the whole time. Strong values are a great way to make sure your image reads clearly.

My CSP time lapse of the project. Keep in mind that the entire time I was working, there was no color! It's interesting to watch it as the software saw it instead of myself.
