Prop Practice (Apr 6 backlog)

For my 3D Modeling midterm, my class was assigned to create three props in Maya to fit onto a table, texture them with Substance Painter and Photoshop, and display them in Marmoset Toolbag. For mine, I opted to create a pair of SNES bits and the only pair of headphones I've used in the last 7 years, leaning into theme of gaming. There was also going to be a full SNES console to pair with the controller and cartridge, but due to an unfortunate file corruption I lost the model just before getting ready to texture it, so let this serve as a reminder to back up your files!

SNES belongs to Nintendo
XO One Headphones are made by Turtle Beach

The final render, featuring an SNES controller, an SNES game cartridge, and a pair of slightly more modern headphones.

The wireframe view. Perhaps a bit higher poly than they could be, but not bad for a first time project!
