Unity HDRP Render Test

At the beginning of this semester, I had to follow some Unity Learn tutorials to familiarize myself with the software before we got into our own projects. The first one I did was a little haunted mansion maze, but I didn't contribute much and opted not to publish the result. The other one I opted to do since I had the time was one that went over using the High Definition Render Pipeline and animation tools to build a short cinematic shot.

I opted to use the free Azri rig from GameAnim (https://www.gameanim.com/product/azri-rig/) to give myself a cool sword swing attack inspired by moments like Overwatch's "Play of the Game" sequences, complete with dramatic slowdown at the end. I set up a quick fantasy looking environment using some free tree assets from Unity's asset store and a large particle system to simulate Zelda-inspired fairies that float around. It was a fun time learning the tools and coming up with something I could say was my own work only loosely guided by a tutorial.

The burst of dust at the end was a fun little detail that took some time to learn, as I'm still not super familiar with Unity's particle systems yet.
