Useless Rube Goldberg Machine (Animation)

For my Basic Animation class I needed to create, animate, and loosely sound design a Rube Goldberg machine in Adobe Animate, so that's what I did! First I drafted out the concept in black and white using CSP just to figure out what exactly I wanted to do, which led to me coming up with a device which turns itself off after a short period. From there, I used a lot of symbols, tweens, and the occasional unique drawing to bring the machine to life, with an extra helping of audio from Freesound.org to really sell the motion.

My original "blueprint", which was a little less precise but still exactly what I went for in the end.

Putting everything into motion was a nice exercise in physics and weight.
